Improving Safety at Your Pool

When you assess the safety of guests at your commercial pool, it usually isn't just one factor that matters. That's why RenoSys has an entire line of products that work in tandem to form an integrated solution that can address and improve many common safety concerns.

Playing Safe

Whether you have a slide or a dive stand, combining water, heights, and metal can be dangerous. In fact, dive stands and diving boards are some of the most common and most dangerous components at commercial pools. Falling from or onto metal ladders is a major risk. Water play areas focused on kids are also dangerous – children may engage in riskier behavior that makes falls or collisions more likely.

While we can't change the effects of water and gravity, we do design and manufacture the best safety padding in the business. SoftSide™ Safety Padding reduces impact injuries from slips, falls, and collisions. Better still, it's totally customizable and is available in thicknesses ranging from 1/2” to 4”. Because RenoSys knows the pool environment better than anyone, SoftSide padding is covered by watertight, pore-free PVC.

Worry-free Pool Decks:

When you have standing water on your pool deck – which is pretty much whenever it's in use – you have a slippery and hard surface. Concrete is standard, common, and...not good enough for your facility.

RecDeck™ PVC decking is an attractive, durable, and aggressively-textured alternative to the standard concrete pool deck. RecDeck fully encapsulates the lower deck in high-quality PVC. We manufacture and formulate RecDeck with biocides to resist organic growth, and UV-inhibitors to prevent color fading. Most importantly, the textured surface of RecDeck gives your guests a much more stable surface – even in standing water. RecDeck can even be installed in locker rooms, or over safety foam for a total deck safety make over.

Average Grating May Not Do You Any Favors:

Many swimmers, especially children, use the pool edge to enter or leave the pool, which makes your grating matter. Substandard grating won't help keep your guests safe. Fortunately, RenoSys doesn't do substandard.

DuraTech™ grating by RenoSys is strong, sturdy, and textured. It supports guests on the pool edge, and also provides helpful traction where the water meets the deck. DuraTech grating is available in various textures and colors, and is one more added element that will benefit your pool and your guests. DuraTech is certified slip-resistant.

A Quality Safety System for Your Facility

Alone, each of these products are high-quality and will improve your facility; together they form a valuable safety system that reduces slip-and-fall risks. While you cannot eliminate risks at any commercial pool, by addressing various risk factors you can dramatically increase safety for your swimmers.
