Choosing A Dive Stand Landing Pad

Diving platforms are a great amenity for swimming pools in health clubs, schools, YMCAs, and universities. They add an extra element of fun, but also pose an additional safety concern that must be properly addressed: falls. If your aquatic center has a dive stand – especially a 3m dive platform you'll want to take a look at how RenoSys can improve the safety of your facility.

Quality landing pads are essential for any facility with dive structures, but not all safety padding meets the necessary standards. A product’s literature may claim that it will work in your center, but that doesn't mean it's the best choice. SoftSide™ Dive Stand landing pads were developed specifically for aquatic environments.

The high humidity levels and harsh pool chemicals of the commercial aquatic environment take their toll on every component of your center, including the safety landing padding, but SoftSide is formulated to withstand them. Three layers of shock-absorbing foam are covered with a watertight layer of PVC that is textured to resist slipping. The PVC membrane prevents water from entering the pad, and is itself specially formulated with biocides to prevent algae and mildew growth.

Each dive stand landing pad system meets or exceeds CPSC standards and is custom made to ensure a precise fit. Unlike other aquatic landing pads, SoftSide is securely anchored to the floor with stainless steel hardware, so it will never shift position.

Don't put off improving safety at your pool, especially when upgrading is as easy as installing SoftSide Dive Stand pads. Call or click to get a quote from a member of our dedicated team.
